Tomaz “The Machine” Barada Seminar

Tomaz Barada, also known as “The Machine” due to his incredible Tae Kwon Do and Kickboxing sparring prowess, came to Bantry, West Cork to deliver a series of seminars for the local clubs. Mr Barada’s record includes 6 European Tae Kwon Do titles and 3 World Championship Golds as well as being crowned King of Taekwon-Do (Tokyo) 3 times. He also became 6x WAKO Kickboxing European and 5x WAKO World Champion.
A group of 17 Warrior Tae Kwon Do members attended a seminar with Mr Barada at the Westlodge Hotel, Bantry on Sunday January 31st. Joining a group of other Tae Kwon Do and Kickboxing students, the Warriors were put through a gruelling but very enjoyable training session which, following an extremely entertaining warm-up, covered a number of useful sparring drills.
Well done to everyone who attended; hopefully there won’t be too many aches and pains after it!
